On June 29th, 1994, Rob Smith passed
away due to injuries sustained in a
car accident. The world lost a great
skater that day.....and more importantly
, a great person. Rob was always a light-hearted
jokster....always one to make you laugh...but
he was also a fierce competitor...always
pushing himself harder to progress.
He looked up to all the greater skaters
who had style....that was Rob in a word..."Style".
His skating was a mix of Tony Hawk's
bag of tricks with Chris Miller's flare.....but
skating was only one part of Rob's life.
He was one of those rare folks you don't
meet every day....he was our friend....he
is our brother. They say the good die
young, but I would give anything to
skate with Rob just one more time. |
