Randy's Ramp - February 13, 2011
First trip out to skate Randy's Ramp (aka. the 7/11 ramp because it was a vert ramp cut down to 7 ft high sections but with two 11 ft extensions remaining) out towards Pinson....kinda where Tarrant ends over by Jeff State Jr College. The ramp was in great shape for being out in the weather. It took some getting use too. Since it had been a vert ramp, it was VERY mellow. However, because the skatelite layer was in such good shape, it still felt pretty fast...not like it had too much flat. I would not say it's exactly even. It fells like one side is 7 high and the other is maybe 6 or 6 1/2 ft high. Also, one extension is 8 ft wide and the other is 12 ft wide. Not sure how all that happened. VERY fun place to ride, and we already talked about trips back after the session ended.
