| 75 and sunny...Beautiful weather! Great day for skating! Our friends from Atlanta had the same idea. They got to the park right at opening time and stayed all
day. Amazingly they rounded up 9 of them to make the trip. Beside the usual ATL crew...Ray Fennessey, Shawn Coffman and Chris Coffman...they also brought along Load,
Jimmy O'Brien, Sushi, Raymondo, Al, Wes, and Trent (think I got that right???). From the local crew, surprisingly not many made it out....either could not get "yard passes" or
were getting other stuff done in order to make the Wolfmother concert that night. However, Tim Spinosi, Chris Solomon and Patrick Jackson made it out for the day. Of
course, the park was full of the local kids too. Awesome session all day! Some amazing tricks were thrown down. The Atlanta guys had a little contest going it seemed like to
see who could keep up....one would do a new trick and all would have to do it....backside airs, smith grinds, inverts, etc. Lots of ripping skating! This was a good
warm-up for the big contest next weekend and the coming pro sessions this week! |
