| A beautiful start to Spring meant no excuses for not get out to do some skating. Everyone was up for a laid back, mellow session to start our Spring off right. Patrick
Jackson was jonesin for some ditch skating. I think I was getting calls already on friday night! haha I met up with Patrick and Tim around 3pm. Not long after, we
were joined by some young guns....Brian Park, Keaton and Cameron. They were sworn to secrecy about the spot. This was their first time there, and they got right to
ripping the place up. Patrick and I were amazed at how fast Brian could go in there. Brian was just hauling ass some how. Cameron was even more impressive. He was
doing huge ollies off the hip and a nice variety of lip tricks on the parking block and edges. Keaton started off much the same as the other young guys, but he caught
a bad crack and slammed SUPER hard....like top to bottom right onto his hip, shoulder and head! It made us all cringe. He sat out a good while, but eventually could not
just sit by and watch all the fun. We all skated ourselves to exhaustion. Tim was first to pack it in followed shortly after by PJ and I . I left around 6pm with Patrick
to drop him back by his car. The young guys stayed behind as Brian had moved another cross-tie and was digging a spot for it. That means some new stuff to skate
next time! |
