| We could not have asked for a more perfect weekend. I will cut to the chase. A lot of people showed up at the Alabaster skatepark. We had the usual suspects plus
a few out of towners (Coast Guard Chris from Mobile.....OS Steve from past Moody...and others). Lots of skating. Lots of stoke-age. Lots of fun! Great to have a pretty good session going again. |

Sunday |
| Another beautiful day! Everyone wanted a change of pace....partially due to being so sore from skating the bowl so long yesterday. Being old rules! haha Calls were made,
plans were plotted, and promises to be there given. We all showed up at the ditch at around 2pm. Skated till near dark. Everyone was stepping it up...trying new lines....new
tricks here and there...reaching down deep in their bag of tricks from the past. It was fun watching each of us coming up with something to surprise the others. It didn't come
without a price though, but we pushed through the pain...literally...as long as we could. I know I left at 5-ish only because I had two pretty good
slams right on my left palm....PJ style....the curse lives on! haha Eddings also managed to scrape himself up. Tim and Barry just wore themselves out. Through it all,
I don't think any of us would have wanted to be anywhere else. It was a blast! These are the kind of days you look back on fondly. |
